The Bank of Lassen County was located 800 Main Street. While the bank no longer exist, the building. does. The original building’s entrance was arched. Many an old timer I interviewed had interesting stories about the columns on the corner supporting the arches. A common occurence was the local Indian women would lean their papoose against that column, as indicated by today’s photograph. That is your Tuesday tidbit as it returns!
