  1. When I went there it was called “Lincoln Annex”, yet, it wasn’t held in that building, but in an elementary school right east of it, next door. That was back in 1969 to 1970. I’m thinking it later became Credence High School before it was torn down about 20 years ago. I think it’s a gas station now. I just remember three occupied rooms in that place, the room closest to Lincoln School was a gym class. There were some monkey bars east of the school and it always smelled of the mill that was in operation at that time. There were tether ball tolls sticking out of the asphalt playground, and I remember running into one that made a loud gonging sound when I ran into it as I was trying to avoid flying pieces of asphalt some of my classmates were throwing at me. Hitting one of those poles headfirst made me see stars.
