Something a bit different than the usual where are we question. This seasonal stream is highly visible to any one who travels south of Susanville on Richmond Road. It should be noted that in drought years it does not flow at all.

I don’t know the name, but my guess is the little creek that comes out at the curve south of Bauer Road, which is near where my grandparents lived for decades. Which makes me think: There used to be a little creek that went across the corner of my grandparent’s property at Bauer Road and Richmond Road. It suddenly occurs to me that I don’t recall seeing that creek flowing in decades (Not that I am out there checking very often.) Anyway, we always called it “The Brook,” which strikes me as a very Eastern name.
First guess is Ramsey Creek
Other possibilities:
Bauer Creek
Jahn Creek
McDonald Creek
Gold Run Creek?
Lassen Creek?
