????I would find it rather doubtful that federal aviation officials would permit useage of this airstrip. However, for many years, it was maintained by the County of Lassen, though some pondered why.

Southwest Eagle Lake? There was an “abandoned wrecked” plane there about 35 years ago. When I inquired of the then-Sheriff, all I got was a blank stare.
Eagle Lake near Christie Beach area which used to be called Circus Grounds and was a wonderful long term camping area before the Forest Service took it over.

I must say, if one used that strip now to land a plane,
the wings would be alot shorter after touch down………
