The other day I happened to notice a new realtor sign at the Hotel Mt. Lassen. Out of curiosity I examined the listing and the asking price is $3.4 million—doubled the amount of the previous listing. Considering the building has been vacant for over a decade, its interior gutted, I imagine it will be on the market for a very long time.

California Dreaming! Back in the 1980s, a couple of brothers acquired an interest in the property, opened the bar a restaurant (kinda), maybe had a few rooms to rent and sponsored a few wild west events to generate some press but don’t think their efforts made the project viable. Don’t know what happened after their efforts. Seems more headaches and nightmares than sweet dreams associated with that property.
