Wow, that is really interesting. I have a couple of questions for Mr. Purdy and the subscribers. Do you know when this happened? Is this the Mulroney place as it is today, or is this the Mulroney place that became the Winchell place (Dieter place today)? I believe there are stories about Harry Gordier and the nuggets found by T. J. Mulroney in Fairfield’s. I believe he also mentions that T. J. and Ed Mulroney bought the “ranch that Gordier located on Baxter Creek. But this would have been in 1862. This photo looks like something from the 20’s or 30’s?
