  1. We lived on the old Day Ranch, near the honey lake one room schoolhouse ( I attended), in front of the house was ( still there 3 years ago) a huge pine tree.
    At the base was the headstone of the first “white” man killed by Indians!
    It’s mentioned in the museum, how about a story( he also rad a Mason, as was Peter Lassen, buried near Janesville.
